Situated along the banks of the Grand River, Doon Valley Golf Club is home to some of the most scenic golf in the area. The club has a scenic and secluded setting in the south end of Kitchener. There is something for every skill level at the club with an 18-hole championship course, a nine-hole short course, and a nine-hole, pitch-and-putt course. The Championship Course naturally offers the greatest level of challenge of the three but beginners won't feel too out of their league. C.E. Robinson, who has designed more than 100 courses throughout Canada, designed the course in 1955. Water comes into play often throughout, with some holes utilizing the natural wetlands and others that run alongside the river. The scenic layout is one of southwestern Ontario's most popular.

- Had a great experience. The staff were friendly, course was in good condition and the price was very reasonable.I brought my kuds ( 4 and 5 ) to ride along with my friend and myself. Was charged full cart which was ok. My kids maybe hit the ball 5 times. The were more interested in the cart. In the end the course held my kids club for ransom. They wanted 60.00 to get em back because they say my kids hit the ball. After arguing and gonna go to media over this they gave the clubs back. That was very low trying to hold a kids club for ransom. I will never go back nor will i ever enroll my kids in any of their junior programs!!
