Short Course at Doon Valley Golf Club

Doon Valley Golf Club is popular with golfers of all skill levels since it offers an 18-hole championship course and a nine-hole short course as well as a nine-hole pitch-and-putt course that was added in 2010. The club enjoys a scenic and secluded setting in the south end of Kitchener along the banks of the Grand River. The Short Course is a fun and sporty layout that offers the same elements of the championship course and the convenience of a nine-hole layout. It is the perfect place for golfers looking for a quick, walkable round that still provides a fair amount of challenge. The parkland layout utilizes the river and the natural wetlands but the hazards are not too daunting. True beginners might feel more comfortable on the pitch-and-putt course, which has shorter holes and fewer hazards.
