Situated at the base of Halton Hills, Hornby Glen Golf Course was built upon rolling, wide-open terrain. This affordable public course offers the quality and many of the amenities of a private club, including a clubhouse and pro shop. The tumbling landscape provides undulating fairways and expansive, rolling greens where players are likely to three-putt if not patient. Despite the golf course's hilliness, it is surprisingly easy to walk. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides an excellent way for more advanced golfers to work on their short game. The par-4 eighth is Hornby Glen Golf Course's signature hole, known for the long ravine that appears halfway down the fairway where if you get stuck, you'll be facing a blind shot to the green.

- Marshal's where very rude and not nice. they assumed I brought my own beer onto the course but in fact I actually bought it from golf cart 5 mins before, very rude in the approach of accusing instead of asking. Rushing our game to the point we were waiting and was only 1/2 a hole back to start with. Grounds weren't the greatest the dead grass cuttings were left all over the fairways.
They over booked the course, started us late and then complained we were half a hole behind, meanwhile we were waiting at every hole for the groups infront!
Way too many Marshals and they were extremely rude, perhaps they should spend less money "policing" the course and more money maintaining it. There were clumps of dried cut grass all over the fairways and the greens. The tee blocks were full of weeds and poorly maintained!
I have golfed all over the area for years and have never paid so much to play on such a disgraceful course!
You couldn't pay me to play there again!!!
