White Sands Golf Course & Practice Centre is the perfect place for beginning and intermediate players who are not quite up to the challenge of an 18-hole course. The par-3, nine-hole course at White Sands is definitely not your typical pitch-and-putt. Plenty of water comes into play thanks to four large lakes and there are also strategically placed bunkers to contend with. The layout provides the challenges of a championship golf course but on a smaller, more beginner-friendly scale. In addition to the nine-hole golf course, White Sands offers an expansive driving range with 42 grass tees as well as a putting green and chipping area complete with a sand trap. It is Ottawa's most comprehensive practice facility. White Sands is great for beginners but it is popular amongst all skill levels because of its affordability.

While a Par 3 course, this track is challenging. Not really suited for kids or beginners. Many forced carries, considerable fescue grass, water...bring your game for this course or you will donate a great number of balls.
