Chateau
Whistler Golf Club
In a place where superlatives to describe the scenery must be doled
out carefully lest they get used up too quickly, Chateau Whistler easily
earns the term “breathtaking.” This stunning course, designed
by world-famous golf architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr., was selected
as Best New Canadian Course of 1993 by Golf Digest magazine, and awarded
the Gold Medal in 1997 by Golf Magazine. Despite the scenic ruggedness
of the terrain, the artful course design makes Chateau Whistler eminently
playable.

Nicklaus
North Golf Course
Legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus says modestly of Nicklaus North, “The
idea was to build a course that people could enjoy.” From the
first hole on, it is clear that’s an understatement. The conditioning
at Nicklaus North reflects the standards set by Jack Nicklaus himself,
so much so he gave the course his name. Voted “Best New Canadian
Course” in 1996 by Golf Digest magazine, and host of two major
televised events, 1997 Canadian Skins Game and 1998 Shell’s Wonderful
World of Golf, gives Nicklaus North a unique signature of quality.
