- This guy has no people skills from the looks of things.Golfing is a social time to be enjoyed.I hope someone else is running this place in the future.This is no way to run a business.I recently played my last round at this course. The owner is rude and obnoxious. I had picked up a few golf balls and some beer cans out of the bushes, and he lays into me saying I am stealing from him and he was gong to call the cops. For a couple bucks of beer cans, he has lost my patronage forever. He made me give them to him. I should have thrown them back in the bushes where I found them. What a jerk.It’s cheap and short, good for kids and beginners. Greens are a 2/10 and fake tee off pads are in horrible shape, most Tees are damaged to point where they won’t hold up a ball. My 10 year old son grabbed a flag pole today, as children may forget the covid rules from time to time and before I had a chance to instruct him the asshole of an owner lays into him. The owner was rude and completely disrespectful to me and my family. He’s lucky he wasn’t within striking distance of me.Owner was rude and disrespectful. A friend and I brought out 2 beginners as an introduction to the sport. We figured this would be an appropriate course. We were met by a brash young lady as we paid. The owner then welcomed us on the 3rd hole by yelling at us to "speed up". We were 1 of 2 groups on the first 9. This was 6:15 pm on a September evening. For reference, our Pace of Play (9 holes) was ~50 minutes. Having read other reviews, this is a common occurrence. Tee blocks were worn-out range mats. Fairways were mostly spotty/patchy weeds/crabgrass. Greens were poorly maintained, covered in pitch marks, slow and predictable. Poor excuse for a Pitch N Putt. Owner is can't-make-this-up-rude. 0 stars. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.Good learner course for kids.....
Unfortunately the owner is a rude jerk.... yelled at my kids and I. Said we were holding up the pace of play which was not true!!! States we broke protocol, also not true!!!! Disgusting display of behaviour by this man in front of my children! I would NOT recommend to anyone to play here.
This course is Terrible i dont know how you can call the greens green its dead brown grass on the green i would be surprised if they ever water it. the clubhouse is more like a shaq with the square footing abou the size of myself i dont know how they make any buisness considering me and my boys say a total of 13 mice on the golf course.
the owner is terribly rude yelling at novice golfers to hurry up since it has took 3 guys 2.5 hours to play 18 holes and they were on #18. Terrrible golf course will not be backI think it was a really fun little course.. The grass isn't great, but the price is and it has 18 holes, most par three courses I've been to were only 9.. I just checked it out during a trip up to Kitchener to visit family, I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in town.. CheersTerrible Customer Service

Buncrana Golf Course is a Par 3 I grew up with, like Westhill Meadows; you have a small 18 hole par three course. This was my first time being new to Kitchener and it will be my last. Every hole has mats for tees, I had play the first hole thinking the tee box was under repair, and it turns out ever box is the same. Buncranna is definitely the better par 3 course in the are and does it right for every skill level to play and practice their game. I had asked for my money back after the first hole and the managers response was "were not out here on tv" and had asked "did you do your research." I work hard for my money and he didn't even offer to refund 9 holes, instead said hit from the grass outside of the mats where the ground was not up kept like the rest of the course. He then proceeded to state how long he was in the business declaring my own comfort level as a golfer. Buncranna also has tee blocks!
I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST TO ANYONE TO PLAY HERE! There are way better golf options out there for people to play.Terrible Customer Service

I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST TO ANYONE TO PLAY HERE! There are way better golf options out there for people to play.I had just finished, and was hanging out in the parking lot. I see a group of about 4-5 guys showed up to play their first hole. They seemed to be willing to have a good round of golf.
To my surprise, I turn around to hear obnoxious yelling, almost megaphoning from the booth, demanding them to hurry up. The Owner of the course-- who already has a bad reputation-- storms out to get aggressive with this group of guys. They were obviously shocked. The Owner's hostility was met with confusion and mild hostility from the guys in return. I heard one of them say "man, it's my first time golfing, give me a second". The owner responded by shouting how long he had been playing golf, as if any of these customers have anything to do with that. A guy in the group mentioned the global pandemic and wondered why the owner was getting directly in their faces. These guys had literally been on the first hole for a minute-- and I mean literally. The guys got kicked out of the course after receiving a flurry of shouting from the owner for not instantaneously firing a hole in one. In all my years as a golfer this was of the most absurd interactions I have ever experienced. I had heard about the horrible manners of the golf course's staff, but this nonsense was plain embarrassing.
