    Warning

I played 9 holes late this evening with a golf cart, which requires a $500 deposit. At the end of the round I left the cart by the employee washing the golf carts and left. An hour later I get a call from the woman who took my deposit, Lizzy Lee, and she is telling me she is keeping my $500 because they can’t find the key.

Her whole tone changed when I told her I had a video showing me return the cart to the cart washing employee (I took the video because I heard this place was shady - clearly it is). She suddenly said she DID return the $500 to me, and the key suddenly was found as she was speaking to me. All because I told her about the video I took!

I have played this course off and on for almost 40 years.

In 2020, the course conditions were the best I'VE seen here. The spacing between tee times was sufficient to keep to 3 hour rounds mid-week.
I have always enjoyed this course as a tune up for tournaments but more so since my first hole in one was here.

The staff has changed over the years but lots of the patrons look familiar and they are always friendly

Phenomenal bang for the buck, good variety of Par 4 dog legs and Par 3s. Toronto is definitely private golf course country and this as well as the other city courses are a welcomed alternative. Some etiquette issues I understand, it obviously has beginnners wanting to learn the game and if people kindly pointed things out for them instead of pissing and moaning it would make for a better all round. People who have complaints about this track should shut up and pony up the cash to join a private club, then as a shareholder you can whine all you want.

Terrible course. No maintenance whatsoever, greens are not kept, half of the holes have no tee-boxes and have been shortened. On top of this, management are liars and overbook the course (4 minute intervals) so you are always waiting. Absolutely do not go.
