- Accessible and challenging municipal golf course. Greens are arguably the truest in the city. Note: bio says the golf course opened in 1970. The golf course was actually opened in 1925–and is home to the historic Strathcona Invitational (est 1930). You can feel the history as you walk the course with its natural landscapes and elevations. Beware: the ball breaks to Lake Superior.
