For a quick round it's perfect BEN, from back in 2020 was sad and said it's not for beginners. It is...maybe not 4 beginners but beginners never the less.

It is what it is ........nice layout and good challenges for being open yr round. Of course it will not be in as great a shape as other courses that are only open 7 months a yr ...It is great to get out there in the winter months when weather permits to swing a club and stay active ......for what it is ....st. davids is a great course that caters to us golfers staying open as it does ......

Can’t go lower than 1. DON’ T play St David’s . Never use your credit card, they will charge you whether you show up or not and do not warn you in advance that they will charge you.
If you died driving there , they will still charge you . Unbelievable.
Rude, inconsiderate, unreasonable staff and management..
    No washrooms, dumpy course.

A 9 hole challenge for all level of golfers -- it tests your course management and every club in the bag . It's well maintained and value for your money .
I find the staff "EXCELLENT " accommodating and always polite . As a single I am always paired with others -- I have never been disappointed with my friendly pairings.
Dustin mac Dougall your review of July 20th, 2020 is entirely out of line - the exception and completely out of line with the overwhelming majority opinion of the members and visitors to this fine course .

A very picturesque course. I feel at ease with all shots. You need every club. Rough is thick, but fair. Fairways and greens are short.
Still it plays longer than the 300 yards. Hospitality by management and fellow golfers is appreciative. The course opens in March and closes in November, maybe even early December. Most importantly I feel like I am walking on sacred ground realizing that Tecumseh and the Aboriginal Warriors used this area and the slope behind the first green to mount the escarpment when they fought with General Brock. Living History!

Very beautiful, relatively short 9 hole course. The price is also very good. Very suitable for beginners up to mid-handicappers. In the off-season it may also be possible to play the 9 holes again back-to-back for a small incremental fee. To me the only negative is the occasional goose poop on a couple of fairways and greens. Overall a good choice for me - I've played here around 20 times so far (October) this Covid year (2020).

great course for a quick game, able to use all clubs and still feel the range of long and short holes.

Went as a group of beginners and naturally, took longer than the expected time as we are beginners. When we reached the finish, the staff were upset we took so long and was accusing us of going back and redoing a bunch of holes (we didn't). We let 5 groups play through us because they were all much faster than us. We told the staff we did not replay holes and they insisted we did because of the amount of time it took us to play.
Nice course, but I would not recommend it for beginners as the staff assumes you will be playing each hole in less than 15 minutes as a full group.

I love this course. Best bang for your buck in the area, super forgiving and challenging, great for long time golfers and I always feel comfortable bringing out friends who are still learning. Incredibly well-kept, and stunningly beautiful, especially in the fall.

Golf course is terrible, staff on site are rude and not willing to work with customers. During this pandemic was treated like a nobody. Very in happy with my experience and would never recommend this course to anyone.

    Terrible staff

Started my golfing here, many many years ago. Will always come back and play the course several times per season, and winter weather permitting.
