The Marshes

Marshes Golf Club is one of Robert Trent Jones Sr.'s last designs, it was actually a collaboration between father and son. They were equipped with a diverse landscape of wetlands, meadows, and hardwoods forests that they sculpted into a challenging championship layout. The natural assets were carefully maintained though, earning them the title of being an Audubon Cooperative Wildlife Sanctuary Course. Gentle streams meander through the golf course, which is already dotted with sparkling blue lakes, creating water hazards on a number of holes. There are also white sand bunkers surrounding the generously contoured greens. Marshes Golf Club's varied landscape has several features that are ideal for par 3s and as a result the layout has a unique combination of six par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s each. The Marshes also offers a shorter course that is equally as exciting, the Marchwood.
