Situated along the banks of Lake Erie, Freedom Oaks Golf Club provides an enjoyable walk and scenic round for players of all skill levels. Contoured greens provide some challenge as well as several water hazards that come into play. The golf course has a unique mix of holes, alternating straightaways with left and right doglegs and holes with heavily wooded fairways and others that are wide open. The result is a layout that appeals to a variety of different golfers, from casual beginners to experienced professionals. One of Freedom Oaks Golf Club's trickiest and most exciting holes is the seventh, a dogleg par 4 that is flanked by dense forest on both sides.

Just played Freedom Oaks, Dunville late June 2020 at a cost of $92 for two including a power cart.

The greens are hard and fast with many greens sloping away from any incoming shot making it virtually impossible to hold. Thus penalizing good approach shots.

Fairways are hard pan which is good for the roll-out but shocking to the hands trying to take a divot. Standing on one tee box we counted six narrow fairways running parallel in close proximity. FORE!! was heard many times.

With 40 + years of golfing I have golfed many courses all over Ontario and this course is not as advertised.

Very unattractive and basic course and not worth the money and would not play there again even if it was free.

    Gord.
