Chris LaPierre and Doug Wright are incorrect of their information and review of the Oaks of Cobden.
    * Slope rating was changed at the beginning of the 2018 season to 68.1/112.
    * Oaks of Cobden do not have a qualified pro that information is incorrect.
    * As a rule the course is in good shape during August to closing. Last season and this season the course was not well maintained, drainage issues, grub issues, fungas issues on the greens, and bunkers not maintained properly. I golfed all season with full time members and it was pointed out September 6th 2018 the course was just starting to get better consistently but could still see significant amount of fairway damage and tee block damage by grubs.
I have noticed a decline in the past 5 years of the course not being pro active in maintenance and it shows with the membership declining. So I would say this review that I have read is incorrect on its accuracy of the Oaks of cobden. Too bad beautiful track.
